University Place
Jersey City, NJ

The West Campus Master Plan for New Jersey City University sets out to create a “college town” feeling in an urban setting. The $400 million, 22-acre development includes four mixed-use projects with student and faculty housing, shopping and parking. Claremont Companies of Far Hills partnered with Hampshire Companies for the first two phases, a total of 330 luxury apartments, 20,000-square-feet of retail space and 350 structured parking stalls. The role of Construction Pros includes insulation, drywall, prime carpentry, finished carpentry, millwork, cabinetry, door frames and hardware, and exterior finished carpentry.

Valley & Bloom
Montclair, NJ

The side-by-side buildings which comprise Valley & Bloom feature 258 luxury one- and two-bedroom apartments, 23,055 square feet of office space and 22,340 square feet of ground level retail and restaurant space. The $100 million mixed-used property was co-developed by LCOR Inc. of Berwyn, Penn. and Pinnacle Companies of Montclair, NJ. To help Valley & Bloom developers achieve LEED-certification, Construction Pros. followed leading-edge standards in green design. Construction Pros also fabricated and installed load-bearing steel panels and provided numerous other services, including EcoSpan Open Web Bar Joists, interior light gauge non-bearing infill framing, insulation, drywall, finished carpentry, and James Hardie fiber cement exterior siding.

Riverbend District, Phase I
Harrison, NJ

Advance Realty Group of Bedminster is the developer of a 132-acre urban district in this booming section of Harrison known as the “Riverbend District.” For Phase 1, Advance Realty partnered with DeBartolo Development, LLC to develop 1,000 apartments and 20,000 square feet of retail space on three blocks, beginning with a 5-story, 286-unit building with studio and one- and two-bedroom apartments and an onsite parking deck. The role of Construction Pros includes cold-formed metal framing and wood framing.

The Pitkin Berriman Complex
Brooklyn, NY

For this seven-story mixed-use building, Cypress Hills Local Development Corp. sought out Construction Pros for their expertise as certified installers of Nichia fiber-cement exterior cladding and siding. The Japanese product, manufactured in Georgia, is making significant inroads into the commercial space.
